Innovationsveckan 2026
  • 5 oktober, 2026 13:00–14:00

Are we more innovative than we think? (Pre-recorded session held in english)

The session aims to inspire participants to recognise innovation in their own work, while offering a brief international perspective on how public organisations are driving sustainable transitions through policy, planning and procurement.

Introduction: When we think of innovation, we often picture breakthrough technologies, disruptive inventions or major transformation projects. Yet many of the changes shaping our cities and communities emerge through small improvements, new forms of collaboration and everyday decision-making. Could it be that innovation has already become part of our daily practice without us fully recognising it?

Purpose of the session: To challenge common perceptions of innovation and explore how transformative change is often built through many small decisions, actions and collaborations.
